John M Burgess is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in California. He has been in the hearing health industry since 1997. He has a background in Electrical Engineering prior to becoming a hearing health care professional and attended the University of California Santa Barbara. While attempting to get his father’s hearing loss corrected, he provided money for him to be fit by an Audiologist, but instead he purchased hearing aids at Costco and could not hear with them. This inspired John to get into the Hearing Healthcare Profession. John’s favorite thing about being in the Hearing Health Care Profession is solving hearing problems for people from many different walks of life and hearing their stories. John is married to an Audiologist, so they love to talk technical and share fitting challenges. They do picture puzzles together to wind down and play penny slots at the local casino. John also throws disc golf for exercise and fun.
